At the age of 7 Richard was enrolled in the music school in Meggen, canton Lucerne and continued to study piano with his teacher Nijolé Abaryté:

 In 2018 he took the 1st place in the Regional Music Competition 2018 of the Canton Lucerne (Regionaler Musikwettbewerb 2018 des Kanton Luzern – Adligenswil, Meggen & Udligenswil). Besides lessons and the competition he participated in different concerts and other venues.

 In 2018 he was accepted into the Zakhar Bron School of Music in Zurich and studied under Christophe Berruex: https://zakharbronschool.ch/teacher/christophe-berruex/

 Besides his studies at Zakhar Bron he participated in different concerts organized by the school (i.e. https://zakharbronschool.ch/en/news/young-soloists-at-the-kluskapelle/), attended workshops (i.e. workshop by Miroslava Marchenko from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory – 

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBW5FmI0Xfc) and took many private lessons with the famous Esther Yellin (https://www.estheryellin.com/). Outside of Zakhar Bron he played several solo concerts in different locations (weddings, local retirement home, local restaurants, local hotels) and regular street concerts in the old town of Lucerne, Switzerland.

 In 2020, he was enrolled in the Algarve Regional Conservatory (Conservatório Regional do Algarve) in Faro where studies diligently under Professor Oksana Anikeeva: https://conservatorioalgarve.com/

 In January 2021 Richard won the First Prize in the Canadian International Competition (Junior Performer Category, online)

and 2nd place in the First international online competition for young musicians “Nouvelles Etoiles”

and 1st place in the the Sebastião Leiria Competition in Tavira in April 2022

 Currently he is daily studying the art of musical performance on the piano and does this with the guidance of his piano mentor Professor Oxana Anikeeva, preparing for future competitions and concerts
